Sheikh Mana Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum.LocationThe Aladdin facilities are located in the Ras al Khor (Aweer) Industrial Area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The location serves as a strategic transit hub for interport movements particularly between Jebel Ali Port, Khorfakhan Port, Sharjah Port, and Port Rasheed as well as the Ports of Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates. Most major shipping lines that provide service to the region utilize the terminal and services of Aladdin.Customs Bonded Inland Container DepotAladdin is a UAE Customs Bonded Inland Container Depot (ICD). The Dubai/UAE Customs, The Dubai Municipality, The UAE Health Authorities, and The UAE Ministry of Agriculture have permanent offices within the premises and conduct inspections at the Aladdin facility. FacilitiesThe 13.75 hectare (34 acre) facility includes 140,000sq meters (1.5 million sq ft) of asphalted land, 1,579sq meters (17,000sq ft) of multi floor and single floor office spaces, 2,884sq meters (31,044 sq ft) of enclosed warehousing space, container storage space for over 5,000 TEUs, container repair and fabrication areas, and a large open storage area (on packed sand) that is equipped to store vehicles or equipment. All facilities are secure and are guarded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.EquipmentAladdin maintains a fleet of 60 heavy duty trucks, 120 trailers, 45 dollies and 30 detachable generators to support the transportation of containers. It has 5 container handlers (reach stacker), 15 forklifts, 2 power packs and several light vehicles used to support the movement of containers. TransportationDomestic Trucking: Aladdin provides prompt, reliable trucking services throughout UAE including Door to Door, Port to Port, Port to Door, and others. The company transports containerized, flatbed, open top and other types of customer cargo. Inter Gulf Trucking: Aladdin regularly transports dry and reefer containers from the UAE to Qatar and Oman.Container Storage Empty, Full/Load, ReeferLow container storage rates and excellent proximity to markets and ports Dubai, Sharjah, Jebel Ali, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi make Aladdin a primary choice for storage of empty and full/load containers. There are 65 Reefer Plugin Points (380 volt) for refrigerated (reefer) connections with backup powerpacks and trained technicians monitoring the containers 24/7. Cargo Storage and Cargo HandlingThe company offers closed warehousing, covered and open for all types of general cargo. Trained staff handle loading, unloading, cross loading, stacking, and palletizing of loose cargo, multiple vehicle loading, and lashing of heavy equipment.Container WeighingThe Weigh Bridge is equipped to weigh containers of all sizes and types, flat racks and cargo. It is independently calibrated on a regular basis. Major shipping lines authorize Aladdin to weigh their containers. Container Maintenance & Repair Services Trained, licensed technicians survey and repair all types of containers according to international standards. Aladdin undertakes various container fabrication works to customer specific instructions, such as converting 20ft/40ft containers into offices or housing.
